Get Started with Nile
These simple steps will guide you through an easy activation.
1. Create your Nile Portal account
The Nile Portal is the primary portal you’ll use to set up and monitor your Nile Access Service.
What to expect:
- You’ll receive a welcome email from Nile introducing you to your dedicated service delivery manager (SDM).
- Within that email, you’ll be guided through a quick registration process to create your Nile Portal login.
- Once approved, you’ll receive an email from Nile to set your password.
- From here, you’ll be able to add other members from your organization.
2. Get your Nile Access Service
Each service begins with a complete, high-performance design based on your unique needs.
What to expect:
- A Nile SDM will contact you to schedule your site survey.
- We’ll produce a detailed BoM that meets stringent performance guarantees.
- Set up service areas within the Nile Portal.
- Your Nile SDM will order the necessary equipment for your site and schedule the installer(s).
3. Prepare for installation
Review the following items with detailed instructions to ready your environment for installation.
What to expect:
- Learn about Nile Architecture and Routing.
- Learn how you can migrate from your current network to the Nile network.
- Learn about what firewall rules you need to setup.
- Refer to the Nile Settings Guide to setup your Nile Portal and Integration Guides for firewalls, routers, SSO, RADIUS, etc.
4. Installation & activation of your Nile Access Service
Nile performs necessary infrastructure installation.
What to expect:
- We’ll install the Nile access points, sensors, access switches, and distribution switches.
- The Nile Access Service will be fully tested to guarantee it meets our standards.
- Once installation is complete, you’ll be assigned a Nile Customer Success Manager who will remain as your primary point of contact.
